When Does My Killer Vacation Come Out The dynamic duo of Jason Momoa and John Cena has officially joined the cast of the forthcoming action-comedy, ‘Killer Vacation.’ This exciting project, under the Warner Brothers banner, boasts a script crafted by Mark and Brian Gunn, with production duties helmed by John Rickard and Peter Safran.
While specific details about the film remain somewhat elusive, the collaboration between these two charismatic actors is generating considerable buzz. Even IMDB Pro has yet to list the project in its current lineup for either star. However, for fans of both Momoa and Cena, the prospect of witnessing their on-screen chemistry in this new venture is undeniably enticing.
Jason Momoa’s Recent Endeavors
At the age of 43, Jason Momoa has been keeping exceptionally busy. He recently wrapped up filming for the highly anticipated sequel to 2018’s ‘Aquaman,’ aptly titled ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,’ scheduled for a theatrical premiere on Christmas Day in 2023. Despite his packed schedule, which includes his role as Dante in ‘Fast X,’ Momoa remains committed to ‘Aquaman’ for as long as fans continue to show interest.
Momoa expressed, “As long as we can. If people don’t like it and it feels like it’s past its due date, then we won’t make another one. But if they love it, then we will make more, you know. I don’t want to force anything down someone’s throat to watch it. But I love it.”
Notably, Momoa also had a hand in crafting the script for the upcoming sequel
Underscoring his deep connection to the character. He shared, “We wrote a great story. I was one of the writers on it. And the minute we finished (‘Aquaman’), I went in with a 50-page outline for the second one. And they used it, and they liked it. It’s got my heart in it. I feel very connected to the character and have played him across, what, four movies now?”
While the film faced several delays, pushing its release date to late 2023, Momoa remains unworried about the timing, confident that fans will adore the final product. He also expressed gratitude to Tom Cruise and ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ for helping rejuvenate the movie theater experience post-COVID-19: “We killed it. We made something amazing. And it’ll come out when it’s meant to come out. The nice thing about what’s happened with COVID is that everyone is trying to rush to meet these deadlines. But we know it should come out when it’s ready to come out (at a time) when everybody is getting back in the movie theaters. So, thank you, Tom Cruise.”
